Easter Egg Party!!

Stockton has been anticipating an 'Easter Egg Party' for a while now and was beyond excited when he got to have a few this weekend.
My parents came into town so we started partying Friday night. On Saturday we went to This is the Place Monument Park to Baby Animal Day. It was beyond fun and I think I'm going to buy a chicken haha if Scott lets me and our dog Pete won't eat it. They boys absolutely loved the baby chicks. Stockton kept picking them up on his own then dropping them back in....yeah had to work on that one. I'm glad no chicks were harmed or died in this learning opportunity.

Jordan especially loved the baby chicks!!

Landon did great but we did have to watch his ninja fingers and teach him to be soft.

We stopped in one of the stores they had there and got some homemade doughnuts. They made them right in front of us and it was awesome!! They were so good and everyone loved them... especially the littles.

We talked Tyler into getting a fake shave. He was a little disappointed that it wasn't going to be a real shave.
The baby pigs were adorable but let me tell you how upset Jordan was that she couldn't hold one!! But it was probably a good thing because she talked about stealing one and taking it home. KC was worried haha!
They had the coolest owls there! The one above is a Burrowing Owl named Hopper. Below is a Great Horned Owl named Ember and the white one is a Barn Owl named Marshmallow. Stockton about flipped when he saw them and just loved it! It was crazy cool to see them up close. The Great Horned Owl it very intimidating though I will say!! Almost scary.

Today on Easter we had a big family dinner of the traditional ham, funeral potatoes, green bean casserole, fruit salad, rolls and fruit pizza for dessert. It was amazing! Grandma Net organized a couple Easter Egg hunts after, one for the little boys and one for the big kids (us). And of course Stockton attacked everyone with silly string during the hunt.

We did have the traditional Easter Bunny visit this morning as well. Stockton was so excited! Paxton I think was pretty excited, mostly because Stockton was but then for sure got excited when he realized there was candy in the eggs. He didn't care for the egg hunt just the part of eating what he had already found. He was also very good at growling at me every time I took a picture of him. I think he really is a monster on the inside haha!! All in all this Easter was super fun and its just getting funner every year! I can't wait to see what next year has in store for our little family.

Bronze for the Win!!

This Saturday Scott was a part of his company's corporate games and played softball all day long! He started at 7:30 in the morning and finally made it home at 9:00. They won their first 2 games then came home for a quick break before going back for 4 more games where they only lost twice! He had a ton of fun participating with his coworkers. I think he was most excited that he hadn't played in 4 years and pitched 4 of the 6 games and did really well!! I'm so proud of him! Stockton, Paxton and I went to watch our Daddy play 2 games.

Stockton was trying to tickle Paxton. I don't think he is very patient about him getting big enough to play with!

My little Pax in his super cute hat!

Then Stockton stole my phone and had a selfie session....
These are only a few of the many he took

Grandpa Richard took Stockton to watch Scott's first few games while I was at work and I guess had a ton of fun climbing the trees. When did he turn 'all boy'???

Scotty running to base
He did so well pitching! He was really happy with how well he did!
I think he was pretty excited to win a bronze medal. Especially for a team that has never played together ever before Saturday!!

When Scott got home at 8:30 I still needed help giving Stockton a bath and putting him to bed and the lawn needed to be mowed too.
So we got our head lights and I helped look for dog poop then Scott mowed it. And I must say he didn't do too bad either! I'm sure he gave the neighbors a good laugh too!
It was a super fun really long day that I'm very glad is over :)
